Ross Was Right

Ross Perot Was Right about NAFTA and big government. Following 9/11, some gov. officials, corporations and open border advocates have been using NAFTA in their attempts to create a North American Union without the consent of the American people. The fact of the matter is that attempting to give up political control of your country to an outside entity such as a theoretical North American Union or even to the United Nations is treason, pure and simple.

After 9/11 the most logical approach would have been to secure the border, and grant one last amnesty to a few million Illegal aliens. You can't have security without a secure border, that's a fact. Their approach was to open the border even wider to millions of potential terrorists who have no loyalty to America, and attempt to make you feel safer by violating the Constitution with the Patriot Act. It is truly amazing how thousands of vehicles each day just drive right across the border with only a few hours waiting period, and for most people, no substantial inspection of the vehicle or background check of the occupants. On top of that, Congress has failed to protect American jobs with the newest everify workplace verification system, which means that people can cross the border, take away American jobs, and never return to their home country whether it be Mexico or all of Latin America.

Even with a secure border, the lunacy has become so extreme, that currently anyone in the world can fly in on a plane, work for a relative for cash, have anchor babies, and stay forever. Ross Was Right, and these are his prophetic quotes.

"We're spending our children's money. We're passing an unconscionable burden to those we love the most, and we won't do that. If we do, we will have destroyed the American dream, and we won't do that."

"The president's office of management and budget forecasts that in the year 2020 the debt will be increasing at the rate of 1.4 trillion dollars each year. That's every year. And in the year 2030 the debt will have gone up to the point where it's increasing at the rate of 4.1 trillion dollars each year."

"Surely, though, think about it, we spend 5 trillion dollars, we're spending 1.5 trillion a year, all of us ought to be living in a castle on the hill. We ought to have a Rolls-Royce in the garage and a yacht in Palm Beach and our only headache here tonight should be too much debt, right? That should be our only problem."

"Sadly, the people did not benefit from big government. Here's what's happened. Since 1980 the standard of living has dropped for four out of five working Americans. Manufacturing workers who were making $440 a week are now making $270 a week if they have a job. The top growth industries in the United States in the 1980s -- now, listen to this. The top growth industries in the '80s were janitor, cleaner, cashier, secretary and food preparation worker, all honest work, but none paying enough to support a family. That's not progress. So what did our government do? Both parties, arm in arm, sent two million manufacturing jobs to Asia. 500,000 manufacturing jobs went to Mexico."

"After taxes, two paychecks today and most of the families where two folks are working, they're doing it because they have to do it to give the children a middle class, but after taxes, two paychecks today have the purchasing power of roughly one worker's paycheck 25 years ago. That's not progress, folks."

"Conclusion, over the last 35 years, we tried big government. It didn't work. It's left us with a 5 trillion dollar debt. How big is 5 trillion dollars? That's so big nobody can grasp it. I think I've finally got a way to get it over to you. If we rounded up all the currency in existence tonight, all of you emptied your wallets and we were broke and we were going to pay the debt tomorrow, we can't do it, because there's not 5 trillion dollars of currency in print."

"but the thing they don't tell you is Mexico's biggest export, the United States, is 120 billion dollars a year of illegal drugs, flooding across the border, poisoning our children. This number is not included in the Mexican trade deficit. This is a company bigger than Exxon and almost as big as Ford Motor Company, 120 billion dollars a year. This is chemical warfare directed against our children. It must be stopped and we are all dedicated to bringing a stop to it."

"In business you promote people based on your performance. In politics you get promoted based on your acting ability. Guess what, if you get elected acting, what do you think you do after you get elected? Keep on acting. Right. Got it."

"Before the great depression our country was in good financial shape and was a positive constructive force in getting us through it. This time around if we have a financial melt down our government, because of its weak financial condition, will be a liability and people will suffer for decades and you and I will not let that happen. Right? Right."

Our mission is to make the "Ross Was Right" slogan far more popular than "change we can believe in," since we all know that the kind of change they have planned for us is to rewrite the Constitution, eliminate free speech under the guise of hate speech legislation, eliminate our borders, take away our guns, expand government control over every aspect of you and your children's life, take most of your paycheck, and eventually make English speaking Christians a minority group in our own land. Simply post "Ross Was Right" everywhere you can, at the end of email forwards, in chat rooms, on message boards, and text your friends. The people who can't figure it out will do a search, find this page, and we will finally wake America up. We have four years to wake America up, and "yes we can!!!" We should all apologize to Ross Perot for not listening because Ross was right!!!

It is just plain lunacy to let a handful of politicians including the President, determine the future of our nation. This is why we have constitutional checks and balances, but it requires that Congressional leaders and voters show some backbone, and not bow down on every issue. Use some common sense. Both parties are responsible for the policies that have led to this economic meltdown, and thus far, no party has been willing to address the underlying causes which are uncontrolled spending, free trade, and Illegal Immigration.
