To be honest, thanks to President Bush and Senator McCain, the democrats could have ran Alfred E. Neuman and still won. They did practically everything they could to lose the election, short of handing over the Whitehouse on a silver platter. Here are 15 simple steps to recover.
1) Listen to the American people. When polls indicate overwhelmingly that public opinion either supports or opposes an issue, do not be arrogant and disregard the American voter. It has cost you in two elections already. A third defeat and you can kiss the republican party goodbye along with our country.
Three examples:
Despite growing opposition to the war in Iraq due to no WMD being found, and an insurgency that will never surrender as long as American troops are on their soil; Bush continued to ignore the American people without even offering a compromise such as withdrawing to the borders, and standing by if necessary. Even General Petraeus admitted that in limited warfare, an insurgency cannot be defeated by military action alone. Military action can only buy time for a political solution. At the same time however, surrender is not an option, since it will allow an Islamic revolution in Iraq, led by insurgents and Iranian intelligence, with the purpose of creating a nuclear armed Muslim superpower.
Secondly, McCain did not offer any rational solution to the Illegal Immigration problem such as Interior Enforcement. Instead he promised to build a fence, and use it as a propaganda tool to trick Congress into rewarding millions of Illegal Aliens with another amnesty. We already had one amnesty and it resulted in 15 million more Illegals. Another amnesty would be even more devastating, and eventually result in a latin American political takeover. Most Conservatives were at first enthusiastic when McCain picked Palin has his running mate, but soon realized that neither of them was serious about enforcement. There was no significant reason for conservatives to get out and vote for them.
Third, don't keep promoting free trade while Americans are watching more and more factories close down everyday. Obama became popular for a number of reasons but he took off when he began to talk about cancelling NAFTA. The economy also tanked right before the election, there was no end in sight in Iraq, Oprah endorsed him and African Americans voted for him based on race, not issues. 96% of African Americans voted for him despite the fact that Republicans freed the slaves, passed the Civil Rights Act, and Martin Luther King was a republican. Democrats have also allowed hundreds of thousands of African Americans to be killed through abortion and they still voted for him. The media also supported him, and he lied about cancelling NAFTA, when in fact, his people were secretly meeting with Canadian officials telling them not to worry.
2) Don't pretend "Country First," when it is obvious to 90% of America that Illegal aliens and free trade are more important to you than what legal American citizens want. I would imagine half the country died laughing when they saw that slogan. Correct me if I'm wrong, but are you not there to represent the American people, and put our interests above the rest of the world? Actions speak louder than words.
3) Admit when you have been wrong. Senior members of Congress will not change course willingly, since that would be an admission of failed leadership. This is why Mitt Romney made the statement "You can't expect real change if you keep sending the same people back to Washington to sit in different seats."
There is no shame in making a mistake. The shame is in not correcting the mistake once it has been pointed out to you by the American people. For example, republicans have been wrong on Illegal Immigration, free trade, privatizing social security, and their catch phrase affordable healthcare. There is no affordable healthcare in America, since you refuse to deport Illegal aliens, and you refuse to even copy the most successful healthcare system in the world which is Japan's.
4) Quit putting corporations before the American people. Outsourcing and free trade are prime examples of republican betrayal to the American worker. Provide a level playing field for corporations by eliminating outsourcing, illegal aliens, and changing free trade agreements into "fair trade agreements" and Americans will put their trust in you once again. How do we do this? Simple. Place a 20% import fee on any item coming into the country valued at over $500. The percentage and cut off can be adjusted as necessary to make our products more competitive at home. The fee goes directly to each individual state as added tax revenue. The very policies you are promoting are forcing more and more Americans to vote democratic out of desperation. When you lower the standard of living, people naturally vote for socialists.
5) Hold firm on the abortion issue except in cases of Incest, rape or when the mother's life is in danger. If you go any further on that issue by promoting a total ban on abortion, you will lose support. A national education plan revealing that pro choice is in reality pro abortion will help finish swaying public opinion in our favor. The polls already indicate that a slight majority agree with us.
6) Hold firm on the melting pot idea since it is extremely dangerous to let different ethnic groups go their own way and not assimilate. Everyone is entitled to speak whatever language they like, but only the English language should be promoted and made our official language to promote a loyal, homogeneous, and economically efficient society. We have 100's of languages in this country, it is just not practical to accommodate them. A common language unites, different languages divide, it's that simple. If I can't communicate with my neighbor, then I can never build a trusting relationship with them. The idea that we would force our kids to learn a foreign language in order for them to get a job in their own country is ludicrous. Most kids can't even master the English language.
7) Acknowledge that overpopulation will be a problem in the future, especially when it comes to energy independence, and global warming. The key to our long term prosperity is energy independence, and there is no possible way to become energy independent unless we begin right now to control our population growth. We are also 6% of the world's population but we use 26% of the world's energy. This is the one country in the world that should not have out of control population growth if we are to have any chance at all of minimizing our impact on global warming. This means that Illegal immigration must be stopped, and legal Immigration must be reduced back down to pre 1965 Immigration and
Naturalization Act levels. From now on, only the best and the brightest from around the world should be allowed in.
8) Quit using affordable healthcare as a selling point in your campaign. You just lose credibility when it is obvious that there is no affordable healthcare to be found any longer. Instead, focus on providing a much better alternative to Universal Health Care by promoting the Japanese Healthcare System, and for heavens sake, quit paying for viagra, and Illegal aliens. Send all Illegal alien medical bills to Mexico City. If they refuse to pay it then cancel NAFTA over a 10 year period.
By promoting the Japanese Healthcare system, neither party will get credit for it, and we can finally accomplish something. The Japanese healthcare system requires large employers to provide health insurance for their employees, but they also provide community based plans that catch the people who fall through the cracks. They most likely raise the sales tax in each community so everyone pays into it at least a little bit, in addition to requiring a small premium. They also have a pricing book nationwide which stipulates how much they will pay for each procedure, and they will not pay a penny more. Here in America however, the pricing book would have to be adjusted in different states since the cost of living is different all over America. I usually don't reference PBS because of their liberal bias, but they did do a documentary on healthcare around the world, and they concluded that the Japanese system was the best.
9) Give up on the privatizing social security idea. That's like building a house of cards (stock market) on top of a house of cards (economy). Most Americans can see that we can't gamble with social security. The only way to win elections for sure is to cater to the silent majority on all the issues, including social security.
10) Admit the Patriot Act is unconstitutional and promise to modify it to only monitor non citizens, anti-American organizations (lulac,laraza) and their members, and suspected terrorists without warrants. While you're at it, admit that drug testing in school or at work without probable cause is unconstitutional as well. Only when the safety of the public is at risk, should we drug test people as a condition of employment, such as truck drivers, airline pilots, and ship captains. If you are serious about the drug war, then you will secure the border and limit the number of vehicles crossing it, which will allow for full inspection. You might want to look up the 10th amendment as well, which declares that...
"The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the states, are reserved to the states respectively, or to the people."
Which means that 90% of the laws and agencies Congress has passed and created are unconstitutional.
11) Run a national ad campaign dispelling the idea that wind power, and solar power will make us energy independent. The wind doesn't always blow, and the sun doesn't always shine. It is a huge mistake to believe that alternative energy will solve all our problems. We must address the overpopulation issue, and convince Americans that due to global warming, a very limited number of nuclear power plants must be built especially in areas where they are building new coal fired plants. Americans won't accept any more than 10 for safety reasons, and McCain made a huge mistake by proposing 41 be built.
12) Acknowledge that gay people should have civil union rights, but gay marriage is unacceptable for religious reasons. After all, why should heterosexuals be the only ones condemned to a life of misery or loss of property due to divorce:) Draw the line by disallowing them to adopt young children and a few other minor technicalities such as power of attorney in a healthcare crisis. Many parents do not approve of this lifestyle, and should still have the authority to prolong their life, not take it.
13) Explain to the American people that the 1st amendment does not authorize nudity, questionable lifestyles or obscenities on free public airways such as radio and tv. However, the first amendment does protect your right to speak the truth without concern for political correctness, and it does allow you to seek out material that is not on free public airways such as cable, that others would find offensive.
14) Explain that the 2nd amendment does support the right for private citizens to keep and bear arms, and if any future Supreme Court ruled otherwise, then we would form state authorized public militias to circumvent them. Every American has a God given right to protect themselves, their families, and their property with deadly force if necessary, and everyone except top democratic leadership knows that this is what the founders intended.
15) Give up on the school voucher idea. Property taxes are already twice as high as they should be, and school vouchers for private schools only take away money from public schools. Let the rich people continue to fund private schools, not the public. As far as I know, every President we have ever had has gone to public school. That may not be the best example, but common sense is something that has to be taught at home.

Guest Worker Plan
While the President of the United States, many Democrats and almost all Pro-Illegal Immigration support groups claim how wonderful the so called "Temporary Guest Worker Program" is, when it comes down to the details it's clear that this will become the greatest loop hole in the history of illegal immigration.
The problems of this so called "Temporary Guest Worker Program" are many and each aspect of it, simply means our Illegal Immigration numbers will swell to unimaginable numbers.
Lets start off with the most obvious. Currently 1/3 of all the 15-20 Million Illegal aliens have used a variety of U.S. VISAs to use as a gate of entry into the USA. They dont need to climb over walls, build tunnels or get smuggled over. They simply sign some papers, and promise to go back home. That's where the problem begins. They dont go home! They hide through out our country, taking American jobs, taking American paid benefits, and many commit crimes on innocent American victims, many of which are children. Recently, Rep. Steven King reported that as many as 25 Americans are killed daily by accident (Like driving while intoxicated) and as a result of various crimes directly by Illegal aliens. That's more Americans killed by Illegal aliens than in the IRAQ WAR. Using Government numbers from the GAO, he also went on to say that as many as 8 children are molested by illegal aliens daily. So, since we cant even find millions of Illegal aliens that have Illegally over stayed their VISAs, how do we remove these so called "Guest Workers" when the job is done?? Also, if we can't find the millions who have over stayed their VISAs already, why would the Democrats try to raise so many of the VISAs number limits suddenly in their recent "Amnesty" program?
The second clear danger of the "Temporary Guest Worker Program" is the "Anchor Baby" loop hole which is abused hundreds of thousands of times every single year. The costs to American taxpayers is billions of dollars every year, year after year. Here is how this popular loop hole is abused. Illegal alien females either get pregnant before illegally entering the USA or meet their boy friends, husbands and so on in the USA. She is already pregnant or gets pregnant, knowing that this baby will be their entry into the USA and will net thousands of dollars in benefits because this child will be called a "Citizen" even though neither parent is a citizen. The American tax payer will pay thousands of dollars to deliver the baby and many many more thousands of dollars in benefits over the next 18 years for each baby. Then when this baby becomes an adult, they are able to pull in their ENTIRE family into the United States. If this so called "Temporary Guest Worker Program" is passed, this will be a major portal and the border fence will no longer be a problem for Illegal aliens. Millions of Illegals will flow across the U.S. border, meet with their boyfriends, husbands etc. who have previously illegally entered the USA and "The Lottery" begins. If you think Illegal Immigration is a problem now, just wait until this bogus "Temporary Guest Worker" program opens up.
Finally, this so called Temporary Guest Worker Program" actually not so "Temporary." These programs are designed to last 3 to 6 YEARS!! That's right, and that's A LOT of time to work on making lots of babies, lots of family ties, lots of time to work with pro-illegal immigration groups to get a short cut to Citizenship. While Millions wait to legally Immigrate and live in America, this will be a short cut for millions and millions of Mexican Nationals every year.
Currently almost 10% of Mexicans actually live in the USA. This does NOT include the hundreds of thousands of "Anchor Babies which are listed as U.S. Citizens" This so called "Temporary Guest Worker Program" should be titled "The Mexican Job Fair and Citizen Short Cut" program because this will be a program designed almost entirely for Mexican Nationals. Extremely few Europeans, Asians, Australians, Canadians or other immigrants will benefit from this program. No strict limits have been made for ANY Country and no punishments made for ANY country that are found to abuse this program. I've heard some say that they feel this is a "sweet heart of a deal" to make a second opening into the USA since the 700 mile fence deal was made.
What can you do? Stop this bogus "Guest Worker Program" which will never work and will simply swell the numbers of Illegals entering the USA. Tell your Politicians NO AMNESTY and NO Citizenship for ANYONE that Illegally crosses into the USA. Tell the politicians to properly fund the 700 mile border fence and stop playing games with our National safety! Tell them to enforce our laws and the current Illegal alien population will simply move back to their own countries, the same way they got here. Dont believe the groups who say it would cost to much to remove these illegal aliens. It's costing America way too much in taxes and American lives, to continue making it comfortable for those who have knowingly entered the USA Illegally. ALL Immigrants must play by the same rule of law. To make ANY sort of Amnesty program, regardless of what it's called is "Amnesty." To make a special deal to ANY ONE group of people is racist and unfair to the millions who wait patiently and legally to live inside America. Simply making a law banning ANYONE who has illegally entered the USA from ANY Citizenship (or Benefits) program would make a sharp decrease in illegal crossings and would stop the repeat attempts to cross our borders. Arrest and $$ fine both employers and employees who work in America Illegally as well as deportation of the Illegal worker. Doing these will stop illegal immigration.
Also support THE REAL ID ACT which will remove drivers license/American ID cards from the hands of Illegal aliens. This is an important step in National Safety since 18 of the 19 9/11 Terrorist had one or more State Drivers License. This is a FEDERAL LAW passed in 2005 but States like MARYLAND have Politicians who refuse to protect their Citizens and have NOT complied with this Federal law. Remember, you pay taxes and these Politicians work for YOU. You have the absolute right to contact them as often as you want. Think about what you want to say and tell them YOU are an American Voter and you do NOT support ANY Amnesty or Citizenship for Illegal aliens. An 18 April 2006 article in WSJ by Professor of Economics and Social Policy at Harvard University George J. Borjas (For a Few Dollars Less) quotes Paul Samuelson: an increase in supply [of workers] will, other things being equal, tend to depress wage rates." Although Samuelson's conclusions were, for years, disputed, recently they have been proving to be accurate.
Borjas writes: My Harvard colleague Lawrence Katz and I recently examined the impact of the 1980-2000 immigrant influx (and particularly Mexican-origin immigration) for U.S. wages. The results are that, in the short run -- holding all other things equal -- immigration lowered the wage of native workers, particularly of those workers with the least education. The wage fell by 3% for the average worker and by 8% for high school dropouts. He further concludes: These effects imply sizable reductions in annual earnings for low-skill workers. In 2000, the typical high school dropout earned $25,000, so that immigration reduced his earnings by $1,200, even after all capital adjustments take place. Mr. Katz and I also examined how much was due to Mexican immigration. We calculated what the wage effects would have been had there been no Mexican immigration between 1980 and 2000. Are You An American?
For some strange reason, the democratic and republican top leadership wants to keep you divided. Does "Divide and Conquer," or "United We Stand, Divided We Fall" sound familiar? That is exactly what is going to happen if we continue to allow them to divide us over one or two issues. This should help convince you that it is all an illusion. If you can answer yes to MOST (not all) of these questions, you are an American!! Not a democrat or a republican.
Do you believe in secure borders?
Do you believe that half a million soldiers did not die for open borders?
Do you believe in strictly enforcing our immigration laws and completely
eliminating illegal immigration?
Do you believe that legal immigration should be reduced back down to pre

Do you believe that every legal American citizen has the right to seek out
media that does not conform to common decency standards as long as it does
not involve children, and does not use unwilling participants?
Do you believe in a strong national defense?
Do you believe in lower taxes?
Do you believe in smaller government?
Do you believe in eliminating redundant federal agencies that can be handled at the state level, with just a few laws passed at the federal level to standardize and maintain political unity?
Do you believe that each legal American citizen (not illegal aliens) should have the same healthcare wealthy people have, and it should be affordable?
Do you believe that each legal American citizen (not illegal aliens) should have protection under the constitution and the Constitution should be interpreted in favor of legal American citizens whenever there are gray areas?
Do you believe that eminent domain should only be reserved for public works such as roads, hospitals, and schools, and then only when absolutely
necessary? Not to enrich private individuals for commercial projects such as
shopping centers.
Do you believe that whenever necessary our government must rise to the
occasion and pass new amendments when our constitution is used against us
in an attempt to destroy our sovereignty and persecute traditional English
speaking Christian Americans?
Do you believe that legal American citizens (not illegal aliens) should have the right to sue insurance companies, businesses, corporations, and people for
damages when negligence is proven, but that there should be limits on those
settlements so companies can survive without burdening the rest of society?
Do you believe that people should not be able to sue, when they have caused their own injury through lack of common sense or in the commission of illegal activities?
Do you believe that our government has a responsibility to provide a level
playing field for corporations, while limiting mergers, and eliminating monopolies
that will hurt competition?
Do you believe that as long as we have homeless people, poverty, and people who have no health insurance, our government has a responsibility to provide for our citizens first?
Do you believe that all foreign aid should be in the form of tangible
infrastructure that will allow them to permanently help themselves, such as
hydroelectric dams, and irrigation projects? Not just create another welfare
state.
Do you believe that nothing will ever change in Congress as long as we keep sending the same leaders back to Washington who will never make the necessary course corrections, since that would be an admission of failed leadership?
If you answered yes to a majority of these questions, you aren't a republican or a democrat, you are an American. Now start voting like it!! Presidential candidate Romney said, "You can't expect real change if you keep sending the same people back to Washington to sit in different seats." Use your common sense people. Dr. Phil said, "The oldest definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again, and expecting different results." Remember, there is nothing radical about being a loyal American. The only radical idea here is allowing the destruction of America. As Lee Iacocca said in his new book, "This is America, not the damned Titanic."

Ted Kennedy has already pushed SEVEN amnesties into law. None was followed by a reduction in illegal immigration. Why should anybody believe this one would be?
1. In 1986, Ted Kennedy's blanket amnesty for 2.7 million illegal aliens promised a lot more enforcement but did not set any requirments for actual reductions in illegal immigration. The illegal flow continued.
2. In 1994, Ted Kennedy's Section 245(i) Amnesty gave legal residence and jobs to 578,000 illegal aliens. It was a temporary rolling amnesty primarily for extended family members of immigrants who instead of waiting in line, come on to the country illegally. The illegal flow continued.
3. In 1997, Ted Kennedy's extension of the Section 245(i) rolling amnesty was followed by an increasing flow of illegal immigration.
4. In 1997, Ted Kennedy also won an amnesty for close to one million illegal aliens from Central America. Illegal immigration sped up some more.
5. In 1998, Ted Kennedy won an amnesty for 125,000 illegal aliens from Haiti. The illegal flow continued.
6. In 2000, Ted Kennedy got the so-called Late Amnesty, legalizing another 400,000 illegal aliens who claimed that they missed out on Kennedy's 1986 amnesty. Illegal immigration continued unimpeded.
7. In 2000, Ted Kennedy also won the LIFE Act Amnesty for an estimated 900,000 illegal aliens. It was another reinstatement of the rolling Section 245(i) amnesty., an estimated 900,000 illegal aliens. Illegal immigration accelerated.
Now, Ted Kennedy is saying that this amnesty is necessary if we are ever to stop the flow of illegal aliens. Why would any of these Senators believe him when he says this amnesty bill will end illegal immigration with a track record like his? Enforcement along with a secure border is the only answer.
Doesn't it make more sense for both parties to promote secure border candidates and not give 20% of the voters a choice, rather than both parties promote open borders candidates and not give 80% of the voters a choice???
Now do you get the picture? This is an issue that can no longer be ignored by the voters or buried by the mainstream media like it was in the last election. If we are to survive as a prosperous, homogeneous, self determining nation, we must STAND UNITED on this issue!!! Refusal to face reality, and burying your head in the sand will result in a 3rd world nation infested with drugs, crime, and a corrupt government that your children will inherit. p.s. What happens if we lose this battle in the short term? It's very simple. Nothing is irreversible and there is absolutely no reason for 80% of the population to ever give up. The middle class controls the economy. Do not work any more than you have to in order to pay the bills, thereby reducing the amount of taxes you pay to this non representative government, and don't spend any more than is absolutely necessary. Boycott the large corporations, foreign businesses, and turn off the cable, and the media giants may just change their tune, and begin to reflect public opinion once again.
